Hello.

Under Linux Mint XFCE, QLC stops working when screen is locked. It freezes if I have a sequence running. When I unlock the screen, it resumes streaming Artnet.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Because other software doesn't behave like this, and I would think the qlc people would like their software to work on a majority of platforms without issues.

Solving this bug would be a way to chip away at the problem.
Thanks for your contribution.

I would turn off sleep on the computer or check if there are settings to not allow the USBs to turn off during sleep.

This is unrelated to USB, I am streaming Artnet (a networking DMX protocol).
Leaving the computer unlocked is not an option, security wise.

Is not a QLC+ issue. Your computer is in sleep mode.

No, it is not in sleep mode, the lockscreen is showing, the display is not asleep either.

I can do some tests tomorrow. I'm using Ubuntu 24.04 and the Plasma desktop. Normally, when I’m doing a play, I disable the locking and suspension of the screen.
