Distro file is QLC+_4.12.4a.dmg
Running macos big sur 11.3.1
Upgrading from 4.12.0. I remove the old version. The 4.12.4a package installs ok. When I click on the app it hangs. I tried all 3 executables: the launcher, qlc main app, and the fixture editor. Same result.
I tried running from the command like with --debug and --log flags. I see the copyright notices in stdout then nothing. $HOME/QLC+.log is zero bytes.
1> Are there any other logs I can check?
2> Is this possibly a QT version issue?
Thanks in advance

I've done clean installation on 11.5.2 (Intel) and I can confirm the problem. 100% CPU and nothing shows.
Log is empty.
I haven't tried installing from source.
NB: Massimo, in order to be able to start the application without macos complaining about source, you have
to sign all the executables in the DMG, sign the DMG itself and finally notarize DMG. Ask me for links/more details
if interested. I've done this for a java app, but most of the execution is in the commandline anyway.

I recently upgraded my mac to big sur, but I haven't tested QLC+ yet.
Will work on it as soon as I can

Please check the latest TEST version.
Apparently just building with Qt 5.15.2 solves the issue.

Just as confirmation - the test version (link above) also works on my 2021 MacBook with the M1 chip.
