BCF2000 not detecting value changes

Hello everyone,
I own a BCF2000 midi console and I had it working with QLC+. But yesterday some other people used the console and messed everything up. Now QLC doesn't recognize the console. This is what I checked:

BCF2000 is booted in BC mode
BCF2000 is set to U1 mode
BCF2000 is shown in the list of devices.
When I move a slider, no indication of value change shows.
Something inside the settings of the console changed, since It worked before.
When I select the BCF2000 as input device, I get this error message:

What do I have to change to get everything working again?

Try restarting the PC, the BCF 2000 seems to be being used by some other program.

There may also be multiple instances of QLC+ running.
