I use both Korg nanoKONTROL2 and Novation LaunchPadMini in the QLC+ 4.12 program under win10,
each device in its own universe.
a fixture file is installed for LaunchPadMini and through it I control the LEDs under the buttons on this device
how to control the button LEDs on nanoKONTROL2?

By adding Feedback to the universe the nanoKontrol2 is connected to? This used to work for me just fine...

feedback installed, (photo)
With this option, pressing the button lights up the LED with this button.
but I want to randomly control all the LEDs individually, regardless of the button state

So are you asking for the nanoKONTOL2 to be used as a led-panel? Then you would need midi to be sent out as an output...
All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore
