Q Light Controller+

Hi there!
I have some colorpalette from chauvet and they have 8 zones, 4x2.
In the fixture monitor its only showing 6 zones 3x2.


But if i try the qlc 5 beta, its showing it correctly.

Is there anything i can do in the qlc 4 to show them as they should? its hard to imagine the patterns with out the last 2 lines, or actually, when the 4th zone instead of up is in the bottom row.

The problem is in dimensions:

- close QLC+

- open C:\QLC+\Fixtures\Chauvet\Chauvet-COLORpalette.qxf, go to line 208 and edit it so that it says: <Dimensions Weight="2.8" Width="428" Height="248" Depth="178"/>

- start QLC+ again

If it doesn't help, make the width a bit larger so 4 heads do fit (or make height smaller so the heads are smaller).

The head dimensions are not fixed, QLC+ tries to fit head to given dimensions, without knowing actual layout.

Depending on fixture dimensions, 8 heads may come out as

00000000

or

0000
0000

or even

000
000
00
