Hi All,

I want to configure an Audio Trigger in Virtual Console.
So from the Inputs/Outputs tab I select Universe 1 and Audio tab. In this pane Default device is already selcted as Input
if I connect a microphone to the PC line input and I click on the play button beside Level Monitor bar, I can see that the bar
is capturing the sound from the microphone. According to documentation this is supposed to be correct.

Next I create an Audio Trigger in Virtual Console and I select the Input tab.
There I cannot see any Input Universe nor any Input Channel.
If I select Choose, for manual selection I guess, I only see the following (See attachement):

Seem that I need to create an input channel but I can't find where to do so.
Can anyone help ?

Regards
Gilbert

No you don't need to do that, this is for binding MIDI controller elements.
The Audio trigger widget is connected to the audio input you set in I/O tab.
Most probably you missed to switch the widget into active mode (see the checkmark icon in the title bar).

Hi edogawa,

Ok, that means I don't need to set any fields of the Input tab.
And once my Audio Trigger as been created I should see action
of the level bar widget when the Virtual Console is activated.
In fact the Checkmark icon of the title bar only activates when
Virtual Console is active. It does not activate in design mode.

I will try to do some testing tomorrow to see what happens.

HI All,

Ok, I have struggle a bit trying to use the Audio Trigger option until I discovered that the audio input on the laptop was defective.
Replace the laptop and Audio trigger works just fine. Sorry.
