I have recently started to use qlc+ and when I try to use my laptop my lights randomly flicker. I have had no issues of the sort when using the ETC colour scource 40av but when I use qlc+ they constantly flicker.

I am wondering if my super cheap usb to x converter may be to blame?

Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Massimo,
May I add that GrandMa f.i. has a fixed 30Hz refresh rate? So they choose to be on the safe side of the norm.
All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore

Yep, I'm aware of that...that's why Open DMX is already @30Hz in the code ;)

PRO adapters though could work at 44Hz steady.
