Hello!
This may be old known problem but I cannot find the solution.
Is there any changes to be made, to make usb dongle work directly un usb port and not via usb hub? I am using Linux Mint.

Hub is actively powered. Maybe it is because of that.
If connected directly it only sends signal for half a second and stops wprking after that.
Led light on usb dongle is still lit.
On usb hub LED shines purple when working. On usb port directly, the led shines red always..

WIth professional audio interfaces, I even have 3 who require 2 USB ports before the thing starts working.
It for sure is a power thing. Today USB power is so widely defined, you almost cannot figure out what device needs what kind of power today. They all communicate between modes and capabilities... The 600mA question today also demands an answer to 'ok but at what tension?'
