uDMX device stops to work with 4.12.5

Hello,

I just upgraded one of my Laptops to qlcplus_4.12.5_amd64.deb on a Ubuntu (22.04) and the uDMX device stops sending DMX signals (or they are not understood any more by the lights). I can reproduce the problem, when re-installing 4.12.4, it is working again. It could also apply to Windows, as I had similar problems there on a new Laptop, but thought that could be a driver problem.

If I remember correctly, some work was done in the USB area between the versions 4.12.4 and 4.12.5.

Does anyone have idea in which direction I could help debugging this issue?

Hi, indeed there is something wrong in the port to libusb 1.0.
I can consistently reproduce the issue even if I'm pretty sure I tested that it was working before releasing
Gonna investigate what's wrong.

Found the cause!
Indeed when I tested it after the port to libusb 1.0 it was working....and then porting to Qt 6 broke it :'(

Hello same problem for me but on windows 10

When using 4.2.4 all working ok,
when using 4.2.5, the uDMX system setting says:

uDMX
This plugin provides DMX output support for Anyma uDMX devices.
Device not in use

and I can't use it

As mentioned above, the fix has already been applied.

Thank you Massimo, I've tested with the very latestest one: QLC+_4.12.6.20.exe but unfortunately it doesn't work either....

Maybeinteresting for you: I have avast on my laptop and it has recognized the package as infected. I had to add an exception so the install and execution go through.
