Hi.
I'd love to have more scheduling possibilities in the VC, not just time. Like Day of the week or even date.
I use the system to control installations and many times they don't run same every day, sometimes only some days of the week, or sometimes at different time in different days.
I use crontab to close and open QLC, but don't really trust to much closing and restarting every time.
Using mostly raspberries PI...
Just an idea.

Why? It's only a process you are killing in a 'clean' state.
If after QLC+'s restart the DMX interface is reset properly (which I assume it does) things will work over and over again.
Using crontab is what I'd do. (You can find graphical tools to construct a crontab entry)
I'd be more concerned that a raspberry does not have a precision internal clock, so syncing to an NTP network source is vial.
All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore
