Long Time user - Love QLC for many reasons. Had a random need come up where we had to choreograph lighting for a full program which we have done many times, the client wanted this to hit very precise ques to music, Blah blah blah... Usually, when we get something this complex we reference audacity with a vamp plugin beat detector. Get the exact time code and match it in QLC to have that perfect cue. When you have a large amount to process it would be nice if we could have a vamp-type plugin that we could reference a more precise best rather than jumping back and forth from program to program. Anyone in the group doing anything different? Or has a better workaround that might be quicker?

If beat detection is crucial, I use another program in the background (or even on another computer). It sends me beats thru Artnet and I can control the sensitiveness thru, again, Artnet to the beat-detector.
All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore
