No audio in Linux ubuntu 20.04

I am unable to play audio files.
In the input/output Audio tab the level monitor is at 0% and won't change.
It is using the Default device.
I have an MP3 file in the Functions but no audio is heard when play button is pressed.
Also in the SHOWS there is no action when the Play button is pressed.
I am able to add fixtures and see them work correctly, but no sound.

Have you installed the libqt5multimedia5-plugins package?

Its a new linux install so I will check that.

I have done the installation for that package.
Still no audio.
I have vlc and audacity installed on the machine and they play fine.
I'm still missing something.

Videos do not play either.

I reinstalled the lib plugins and now I have audio.
