Hi Guys,

I have QLC+ 4.12.3 installed on my windows 10 Pro and it is a second day now how I'm trying to setup my audio input with no luck. Basically under Audio tab I can see multiple devices available (except microphone) but only "default" one has an input tick box which doesn't detect any audio input.

I launched my QLC+ 4.12.3 in debug mode and this is what I found in my log file
static QList<DMXInterface*> FTD2XXInterface::interfaces(QList<DMXInterface*>) [FTD2XXInterface] Error in FT_CreateDeviceInfoList: 0
Loading USBDMX.DLL failed.
void IOPluginCache::load(const QDir&) "velleman.dll" doesn't contain an I/O plugin: "Cannot load library C:\\QLC+\\Plugins\\velleman.dll: The specified procedure could not be found."

Does anyone know why it doesn't detect any of my input devices?

So far this is what tried:

1. Installed my old Asus XONAR DSX sound card - new sound card stereo mixer device is listed but no input tick box and default device was not detecting any audio
2. Installed VoiceMeeter - VoiceMeeter device is listed but no input tick box and default device was not detecting any audio
3. Updated sound card drivers - no luck
4. Run QLC as admin - no luck
5. Tried QLC+ 5.0.0 Alpha3, QLC+ 4.12.2 and QLC+ 4.11.2 - same issue, devices are there but no input tick box and default device was not detecting any audio
6. Tried selecting VoiceMeeter, Stereo Mixer as default recording devices - no luck, default device was not detecting any audio
7. Installed QLC+ 4.12.2 on my spare laptop with windows 10 - works fine, no issues. Stereo mixer and mic was under audio tab with input tick boxes and sound detected (however this laptop haven't been updated in a while)
8. Tried to play sound track in QLC - no issues, audio output fine and clear
9. Checked sound settings in my control panel and everything looks ok, stereo mixer and voicemeeter volume bars are moving, mic is working.
10. Updated realtek sound drivers to 6.0.8945.1 - no luck

This is what I have

QLC+ 4.12.3 installed on
Windows 10 Pro,
Version 20H2,
OS build 19042.1052
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.2020.0

Motherboard X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING

Thanks

QLC+ uses your Default Input Device, so it should be using whatever device you have selected in Control Panel/Sound.

Hi Kenact,

I tried to change my default device to VoiceMeeter and my older sound card stereo mixer but still had no audio input detected.

Did you try to change the sample rate inside windows settings?

Hi Fredje,

My sound card stereo mixer has 48k lowest resolution but I tried to change my voicemeeter and mic to 44k which had no effect. Also tried to play around with sample rates in qlc+ that didn't help either.
