Audio Input not working

Hi guys,

I've just started playing a bit with qlc+ and stumbled about a weird bug with qlcs audio system on Linux. When I start up qlc and go to the audio IO manager I only see the default device which isn't even working. It's not showing a level and the audio trigger widget does nothing. But the weirdest thing is that everything works perfectly fine in
1. a windows virtual machine and
2. wine.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue or does anyone have a solution?

OS: Linux Mint 20 (Cinnamon) x64
Linux Kernel: 5.4.0-42-generic
QLC Version: 4.12.2 (Also tested 4.12.3, didn't work too. Just using old version because this version is in apt)
Audio Controller: NVIDIA Corporation GM204 High Definition Audio Controller
