Hello, good day to everyone.

In a project, I will use the qlcplus as a kiosk mode on a touch screen using a gigabyte mini pc with the following characteristics:

https://mitxpc.com/products/bri3-10110

What do you think of this mini PC, do you think it works? This mini PC will be working all the time: all day and all night, with QLC plus always running, of course, the routines will be activated at specific times. But the computer would be on all the time with the QLC always running in kiosk mode.

I think to buy it with the option of 8GB ram ddr4, 120GB ssd sata m2 solid state hard drive and I think to install Debian.

What do you think? Thanks friends...

I Think that it is a very expensive solution if only used for QLC.
A Raspi will do the trick for 1/4 of the price (I have it also running)
QLC is a very efficient application!

Just my 2 cents...

Yeah - you are overkilling the budget here.
A Pi with a nightly reset will do the trick.
Since QLC+ does not need to write something to disk, you don't need fast hardware.

I use an Odroid C2 or C4 https://www.hardkernel.com/shop/odroid-c4/ for exactly this, in a headless configration (or rather with a 4K HDMI dummy load)

(FYI, The C2 has a lovely metal case and the C4's metal case will be availale soon)

It works really well, except that you'll have to compile and install QLCplus from the source files, becuase there isn't an installation package yet.

I have a complete DietPi image saved with QLCplus and Chromium in kiosk mode, if you'd like a copy

Thanks friends.

I can even use the raspberry pi 4, what do you think?
My intention is to play lighting routines with music at the same time automatically.

Have you reproduced lighting effects using the raspberry's audio output?

I even found this HIFI DAC to guarantee the audio connection between the raspberry and the amplifier that I will connect in this project, what do you guys think?

here a video sample of its installation and use it.

I would also like to use the 7 "touch screen for QLCplus kiosk playlist display.

Thanks greetings...

^^ not QLC+ related anymore?
If you think your setup requires really HiFi setup - go with that solution.
IMHO the built-in audio output (3,5mm) is adequate for background music and efx.

Very good ... I really appreciate your opinions and advice.

I now have better clarity of the system that I should choose.

Greetings all, good day ...
