Hello,

I just soldered a https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3315734 ... 5d78QAc55F adapter cable to 5 pin female XLR connected to my MacBook pro 10.15.4. and QLC+ 4.12.2. I tried kext with command: sudo kextunload -b com.apple.driver.AppleUSBFTDI ,but still cannot get the adapter to output dmx. I'll get message: (kernel) Kext com.apple.driver.AppleUSBFTDI not found for unload request.
Failed to unload com.apple.driver.AppleUSBFTDI - (libkern/kext) not found.
MACLT80:~ mattitiilama$ sudo kextunload -b com.apple.driver.AppleUSBFTDI

Any advice would be much appreciated, thank you.

Hello,

Somehow I got it to work. I noticed that I had to unplug the printers USB cable it to work. Seems to work fine now. Great software !

hmm ... interesting.
Does the interface drain the available USB-power by coincidence? Unplugging the printer should give more power to the interface??
All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore
