Hi,
I'm using latest version of QLC+ under Linux. See all details in my signature...

Got an issue playing Shows with audio file. There is no sound at all.
I tried different files with different audio format: mp3, ogg, wav, flac. Same issue...
I checked Audio tab in Input/Output section. Default device is checked for input and output.
Audio file is in the same directory than the workspace file.
There is not space in filename

I open same workspace in QLC 5 on same computer. And it worked like a charm without any modification.

Please, could you help me on that one? I'm a little bit lost...

Thanks in advance.

PS: issue is the same when I try to play sound file added in Function tab

Issue is solved.
I uninstall QLC+, install QT5, reinstall QLC+.

FYI, I forgot to mentioon in my previous post. Current Ubuntu version is 18.04 updated from 16.04. Not a fresh install...
Don't know if it may cause issue.

Anyway, all is working now. :D

Hi,

I have the same issue with the same setup (Ubuntu 18.04 Mate, QLC 4.12.1) but my system is very freshly installed (4 days old) and I already have QT5.

Has anybody an idea what is going on there?

Regards,
Tim

Teiko, Have a look at http://www.qlcplus.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=13344

I found that installing the mentioned package restored sound on my Linux Mint 19 (Ubuntu 18.04) PC.

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libqt5multimedia5-plugins
Hope this helps.
