uDMX Not Working Mac

I'm running QLC+ 4.11.1 on Mac OSX 10.12.4, and my uDMX interface is not working.
The light in the interface will go green when connected, and red when it's not
When I start QLC, the light is green meaning it's working, but then a second later, it turns red again.
On a pi running OLA, it works perfectly, but when I try to plug it in directly, I have that problem.
I've seen a number of other posts with similar issues, and none of them have answers, has this been solved yet?
