I would like to see an XY PAD have the ability to Hold position in the case of using a Joy-Stick to control it.

For the reason of using a light as a Spot Light A hold button would be useful for when the user wants to lock the light in place in the case of the spot light

do you use the Joy-Stick with relative-control instead with absolut control which is default in the Joystick profile settings?
1. you could use the relative-movement-control to "lock" the position if you release you joystick or
2. bind a button to XY-Pad for disabling/enabling the pad to lock? EDIT: I think you have to put the XY-pad inside a frame which you can enable/disable
