Switching pages enables frames

Hey guys,

as mentioned here: viewtopic.php?f=33&t=10595 there is a bug when switching pages. Please have a look at the attached workspace.
In it, the "control DUMMY" slider is set as external input for the "DUMMY" slider.

Steps to reproduce:
1 - move "control DUMMY" -> "DUMMY" moves (as expected)
2 - disable frame
3 - move "control DUMMY" -> "DUMMY" does not move (as expected)
4 - switch to page 2
5 - switch back to page 3
6 - move "control DUMMY" -> "DUMMY" moves (not as expected)
This shouldn't be the case because the frame is still disabled but somehow reacts to external inputs.

Tested on Xubuntu 14.04 64Bit with QLC+ 4.10.5a GIT (Qt5)

Thanks for the neat report.
The issue is confirmed and I already fixed it on GIT.
If you have the chance, please double check it on a test version, to see that the change doesn't affect other usage cases.

I can confirm this is fixed in the latest automated build for Ubuntu.
Using Xubuntu 14.04 64Bit

Thank you for fixing! :)

It seems a similar bug still exists in 4.10.5b under Win10 64bit.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create Frame
2. Add Button (Button 1)
3. Enable Multipage, set to 2 pages, copy widgets activated
4. Switching to page 2: The button is copied, also labeled button 1, but greyed out
5. Switching back to page 1: The original button is also greyed out. Only the frame can be selected now.

Additional observation:
Starting and Stopping Virtual Console Mode seems to reset things. So you can switch to page two and select the copy of button 1 (in order to rename it for example), but then the button on page 1 is greyed out again. Also switching back to page two has the copied button greyed out again.

Attached is the demo created.

While we are at it: Would be nice to get the copied widgets renamed, like button 1 is copied and then labeled 2-1 on page 2, 3-1 on page 3 etc.

I can confirm this on Xubuntu 14.04 64Bit with release 4.10.5b.

But this seems to be fixed in the latest sources.

I think I am seeing the same bug on Windows 10 QLC + 4.10.5B. I discovered it when setting up my VC. I could edit my page but as soon as I left it, I could not get focus on any of the widgets. Turning 'Run' mode on, then switching back to design mode fixed it and then I could continue editing.

Again, this has been already fixed.
Please check the test versions available here.

Massimo,

thanks for pointing that out, I will test asap and come back with the results (expecting the issue to be gone :)). To be honest, I overlooked the sticky thread and went straight to the download page to check for the latest version, my bad.

Since I don´t run production, but do a wild mix of cross computer integration into MIDI environments, let me know if I can be of any assistance in testing other things or new releases. Not a master of QLC yet, but trying hard to get there

Fix confirmed for QLC+_4.11.0.19.exe

I don´t remember if that happened during my first install of QLC, but I had to run the installer "as administrator" in order not to run into a "could not open file" error (I assume because writing to Program Files folder)

As always, thanks for making all of this possible, I become more of a QLC evangelist by the day !
