Fade in Fade out in Flash function

Hi.
A'm trying to trigger lights from Ableton. I have made few buttons at the Virtual Console and they works good via midi (Flash function on button press). But when I'm trying to add a Fade In or Fade Out, it works only in Toggle on/off mode. And I need to be able this Fade function when I'm pushing the button or key on my MIDI controller (Push - light on, release - light off). How to do this?
