Fader feedback will prevent setting new values.

Hi, I´m a little bit confused:
I´m setting up a fader to change a DMX value. Works as expected.
I created as scene to set this channel to a predefined value via a button. Good.
Then I realized that the fader did not reflect the new new value, so I enable the
"Monitor the selected channels and update the slider level" checkbox in the slider widget.
From this moment on, I´m no longer able to change the current dmx value throught this slider
anymore. It jumps back to the current value all the time.
Simple workspace to demonstrate this:

Hello,

http://qlcplus.org/docs/vcslider.html

Slider in monitor mode is marked "EXPERIMENTAL". It does not work well yet.

Hi,

I also noticed this in the past. A possible (most likely not what you want, but possible) workaround is to use sliders in playback mode with scenes instead of monitoring level sliders.
If you don't want to change the value of the whole scene, use collections instead (see rightmost slider in the attached workspace).
The problem remaining is, that this only makes it possible to go below the value specified in the scene, not above.

Note that there is possibly an issue about collections assigned to faders I opened a report here: viewtopic.php?f=33&t=10066

Regards
