Hello,

I'm a beginner in all this and I just want to start the device with the rhythm of the music without using the "voice control" option on the device microphone. I have this device:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005 ... 1802RP3DQ8

I use MIXXX and QLC+ 4.13.0
On the MIXXX I have controller LoopBe Internal MIDI and MIDI for ligth script
On the QLC I use for output DMX USB FT232R and for input LoopBe Internal MIDI

When I start music with MIXXX and goes to QLC Virtual console, pick Audio triggers and that's a point I don't know how to resolve further
How can I check if the QLC is receiving a BPM signal from the MIXXX that would be used to control the light ?

Are there any other settings that need to be made ?
Some pictures attached.

Kind regards !

So your internal audio / DMX network is established?
And now you want to control your lights?
Did you patch your fixtures?
Check if you have control over them using the simple desk.
Reset simple desk (no red squares) and start building a project.
I'd start creating with some static scenes (colors for instance) and some knobs and a slider onto your VC ... or simply use the wizard: https://docs.qlcplus.org/v4/function-ma ... ion-wizard
You can assign a function to the audio widget detection channel: https://docs.qlcplus.org/v4/virtual-con ... o-triggers
Did you have a look at the tutorials? https://www.qlcplus.org/discover/tutorials

I did it all. I go to the "Virtual console", select the microphone icon "New audio triggers", in the open window I select "Triggers" on specific frequencies and select "Function". On the "Input" tab I can see Input universe: 1:OS2L, and on Input channel: 8342: beat. And when I press the green play on the top right, it switches to a red square and a green tick blinks on the audio triggers window, but the device doesn't respond, it doesn't do anything.

And what if you manually call the scene your trigger with the audio widget?
Have a look at the DMX monitor... are values sent out?

When i call scene manually foe example with key "S", reaction is the same, green tick blinks on the audio triggers window, but the device doesn't respond, it doesn't do anything.
Sorry, I am beginner, where is DMX monitor ? Do you mean the digital display of my device https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005 ... 1802RP3DQ8 ?

It's a window in QLC+ showing DMX output values -- the values that QLC+ is sending to devices (or at least tries to).

OK, I find it, and situation is: in the virtual console I have an audio trigger and a DMX monitor open. as the audio trigger input I set OS2L, channel 8342 and as key combination the key S. In the audio trigger I set trigger one chase. and when I play music or press the S button, the green tick blinks, but I don't have any values on the DMX monitor.
Note: initially I start with Mixxx and midi signal, then I all change to VDJ and OS2L protocol

Vladimir,

Somehow, you need to be more precise with things ...
Audio trigger input: comes from your audio card, and you have to enable the audio widget before it starts 'listening' to music.
Why do you want to send an OS2L message? And why do you expect by doing so that the DMX monitor will show you something? You don't instruct QLC+ to send DMX signals ...

Please send in your project so we can have a look.

Might it be that Vlad is looking for a solution like this: viewtopic.php?p=67395#p67395?

The essence is to use a Speed Dial and then map the Tab button to the Midi Beat Clock (channels 530 and/or 531).

My project attached. Use VDJ for playing music, VDJ send via OS2L beat signal to QLC+.

I don't know how to use that beat signal to trigger the chaser.

I managed to do something. In the virtual console, I inserted several buttons and each of them triggers the beat, that is, they all start at the same time. Each button starts one scene, for example, one strobe light, one green light, one red light, one white light, etc. Is there a possibility to change the scenes within the chaser with the rhythm of the music? Or can it only be done by entering the time?

I changed your project a little bit.
If VDJ is sending OSL2 signals the button should blink. Now you are sure that signalling is working

Yes, button blinking, and signalling working. Now I have problem, how to change scenes with the music beat...I try with chaser, but I can't figure out a way to change scenes inside the chaser with music beat.

Or you can advance your chaser with your beat signal, or you could introduce a slider in intensity mode and have the beat signal influence this...
This is now part of 'how to build your showfile' and getting off topic.
I suggest you start a new thread.
