Ask a generic question about the usage of QLC+, not related to a particular operating system

Hello,,

I am very new to this lighting world and I would need some advice, if somebody can provide it.

In short, I am trying to find a easy solution to control a few lights for a couple of small metal shows that me and some friends are doing (like 2-3 times a year).
I am thinking of tying out QLC+ paired with an Enttec DMX interface but I am a bit worried if I can make it work with our fixtures.
We are using a few beamZ BT270 pars, some Fuze610Z Wash and some Fuze75S spots. I see that I can find the BT270 pars in the fixtures list but I don't seem to be able to find the Wash and the Spot. So, my first question would be: how could I add and control these washes and spots? Or is it even possible?

My second question: Assuming I can set up everything correctly and create some scenes, etc, is it possible to assign some functions to specific keyboard buttons? For example, strobe on one key, spots moving on another key, blackout on another, etc? I'm not very familiar with the software yet and it's not very clear to me if this can be done.

Thank you!

QLC+ comes with a Fixture Definition Editor ( https://docs.qlcplus.org/v4/fixture-definition-editor , there is also a tutorial: https://youtu.be/D3omuD6F9RI?feature=shared ).
If a Fixture is not supported yet, you can create your own definition.
It is not as difficult as it likes: find an existing Fixture that resembles your Fixture, make a copy, rename it and then you only have to solve the differences.

Off course you can also make a request on this forum ( viewforum.php?f=6 ).

Yes it is. Have a look at "Key Combination" in the online manual: https://docs.qlcplus.org/v4/virtual-console/button
A QLC Workspace is like a Bob Ross painting: "it's your world, you can create whatever you want!"
