0xc0000005 is an Access Violation error

Your laptop shouldn't be a problem. I run the latest version of QLC+ on an 18 year old laptop, with a Core 2 Duo processor.

Microsoft likes to make people jump through hoops, and when the developer doesn't jump through those hoops, it makes the user verify 4 or 5 times that they really want this package. I wouldn't worry about it too much. It's not like you have to download the software every day.

There are a couple of things you might want to try. Make sure you have the latest drivers from Enttec. I believe the latest version is CDM212364.

For QLC+, you might want to run the Uninstaller, then run the installer as an administrator.
