Now, no rush, and frankly, I am already learning and working on the profile myself. My main issue is this. Is it common for mfgs to duplicate channels over in a DMX profile? Look at the manual and you'll see chan 1 and 18 are the same, as well as many others. What happens when you have 1 and 18 set at different values? This really seems strange. Thanks!!

The channels aren't the same, I'd assume Ch 1 to switch the whole laser on or off and Ch 18 to be a mode selector with another "off" setting.

They (try LOL) to talk about a fixture with 3 modes and I can only assume two heads. One being laser and the other one some sort of a laser + scanner...
For a laser it is well documented (NOT) and therefore I wouldn't dare to even use it... Searching for a laser-class ... NO indication! So you are not qualified to operate it. In some countries of the world, France for being #1 followed by some States in the U.S, you are not allowed to operate it all together.
All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore
