Hi,
new gear and tying to go the first Steps:
the Entec open DMX controller was recognized out of the box.
FT232R USB UART (S/N: xyz)
timing is good (30 ms)
mode: open TX
Output is connected to Universe 1. Universe 1 in the left tab confirms this.
Hardware:
From Entec there is a connection via DMX cable to two Stairville LED PAR56 and a Vaytec Hero Spot Wash 140. Then comes the terminating resistor. IN and Out is wired correctly.
Software:
There are 3 fixtures.
Stairville LED PAR56, address 1 and 6
Spot Wash on address 11, channel 12,
Hardware:
Stairville PAR56 set to 1 and 6 via DIP. The DIP has 10 switches, not just 8. DIP 9 and 10 are also set to off. If I switch them to ON, the automatic mode starts.
Spot Wash in menu address 11 with 12 channels and DMX control. If I go to Sound, the device works in Automatic mode
Software:
If I now adjust something on the work surface, the DMX monitor shows the change. However, nothing happens at the lamp.
Is there a series to be observed in the connection? Any ideas?
