Cant see my custom fixtures :(

just getting started on the qlc platform, running 4.12.7 on an alien ware aurora R5 windows 10 home version 22H2. I built a profile for my blizzard Max L bars in the fixture editor, and I put them in the blizzard fixture folder. i re launch the controller and its not seen. I try making my own folder, re-launch and nothing. same with putting it like the generic fixture folder. ive completely uninstalled and re-installed qlc+ already using the uninstaller to make sure it wasn't user error with my file structure or something??? from the tutorials i've found online i dont think im doing anything insane... but illumination of user error or any known fixes to this issue would be killer
