Why can't I get midi feedback from the VC cuelist "next", and "previous" button?
Why does the VC cuelist fader not generate midi feedback if the cue is changed via the next/prev button?
Background:
What I am trying to archive is to control a VC cuelist via a midi controller (via the "next" button) and display the current active cue (via the cuelist faders feedback (in steps mode)) on the middi controller.
- I can get midi feedback for the clue list play/stop button : NoteOn for Play and NoteOff for Stop.
- I can also get feedback for the Cue list Fader set to "steps" mode : NoteOn with the velocity value corresponding to the active cue.
However only if the fader is controlled directly. If the cue is changed via the next or prev button the fader value changes but no midi feedback is generated.
I am also not able to get midi feedback for the next and prev button.
Am I going about this the wrong way? thanks for any help!
