Channel Groups with Large Datasets pausing..

So if you use a large file when generating channel groups and assigning channels and inputs, the "select channels" window consistently pauses every few seconds. I think this is the automated re-processing of channels/checkboxes? Is there a way to tell QLC to start with channels "collapsed" vs "expanded" all the time so that it's quicker to edit? I am including a link to the file here as an example. Any one else have an idea how to make this not pause when editing?
