Hi,
has anybody running Montery and got the sound input or playback working?
I can neither play any sound file nor is the sound trigger working. The input/output panel only shows the standard device.
My current version is macOS Montery 12.3.1.I also tried the latest test version of QLC+ (4.12.5). Same problem on various machines (M1 and Intel, with and without external sound card).
I found a similiar problem discussed in the forum some years ago and it seemed to have been caused by permission problems Apple introduced at that time.

Maybe I just missed something, but any help will be highly appreciated.

Best regards,
Stefan

Update: sound things suddenly started working on Montery 12.3.1 and QLC+ 4.12.5 on the intel based MacBook.
The M1 Mac Mini still refuses to work.
Strange.

Hi Stefan, I really need to purchase a Mac Mini M1 cause at the moment I can't give any support on that platform.
The only thing I know is that most likely the incompatibilities come from the Qt libraries.
I have already made QLC+ (4.x) compatible with Qt6, which should indeed support all the latest Apple things.

Hi Massimo,
thanks a lot for caring.
Yes, I also think it is a QT vs. Apple thing.
If you want me to test things on Silicon/M1, just send me a notice.

BTW, really great job you‘ve done on QLC+.

Saluti,
Stefan
