Hi there,
In our small amateur theater we have 2 Eurolite PLL 480 cw / ww spotlights in use. Unfortunately there is a problem with dimming:
With the mixer, dimming is done evenly up to about 80%, then there is a jump to almost full power. We have the same unpleasant effect with qlc +. Attempts to change the dimmer curves have not brought any success worth mentioning. Only if the master dimmer stays below 80% does this unpleasant jump do not occur. But this significantly limits the light output.
Can someone help us? Is there a similar effect with other headlights or has someone in the community created a corresponding fixure for themselves - maybe I can then copy the approach?

Many Thanks
Jörg

If you are sure that the DMX monitor is sending out correct values, then the fault would be in the fixture...
Does this occur with the CW & WW channels?
All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore

Thank you for your prompt reply.

It does not matter whether the master dimmer is set to 100% and the individual faders on the mixer or in the qlc + for cw or ww are pushed to 100% or the cw and / or ww are set to 100% and the master dimmer is moved.
Correct values are displayed both on the mixer and in the qlc. Other devices work fine.
In the qlc +:
If you switch to 100% directly via a button, the effect does not occur. If, however, a delayed fade-in is assigned to the scene, this error also occurs.
Greetings from Dresden in Germany
