Hi all qlc developpers and users,

The current implementation for RGB(/CMy) click & go sliders/knobs works great for setting up a show but I find it not so handy when manualy controlling (part of) a live performance.

The current behaviour:

1: When selecting a color the slider/knob immediately jumps to the selected color (at 50% position)
2: From 0 to 50 the color goes from black to the selected color, from 50 to 100% the color always goes from selected color towards white.
3: The colorpad below the slider shows the current color, so no color indication at all when the slider is at 0 (or 100%)

For a live performance it would be more logical to have the following behaviour:

1: Selecting a color will set the color/saturation for the 100% position but does not change the slider/knob position.
2: So 0-100% will be black to the selected color/saturation.
3: The colorpad below should indicate the color spectrum for 0-100% slider position (and also the current color would be nice but not essential).

I gues there must be more users preferring this behaviour ? (please comment)

Maybe we can add an option to the click & go sliders/knobs to select this behaviour ?

PS: Since more and more fixtures become RGBW or RGBA it would be logical to implement W and A for RGB click & go too.
