Hi,
how can I manage to trigger on the sound of a locally played audio file (e.g. played with media player)? The audio trigger works with an internal or external microphone but not with windows media player.

On some audio cards you can enable 'stereo mix' and use it as an input device...
If your audio card does not support this a simple cable connection between audio-out and audio-in will do the trick
