I read here where people are using foot switches to control their scene/chaser functions? Is this correct? If so what foot switch is supported? Where in the manual does it explain how to associate a foot switch press to a QlC= function?

Anything that can input Midi or USB to your computer will work.
Check this page to learn more: http://www.qlcplus.org/docs/howto-input ... pping.html

If you are a DIY addict, search "diy usb foot controller" and you will find a lot of stuff.

Thanks. I'm looking at the Tech 21 MIDI Moose, a 7-button controller, 2 of which are Bank up and Bank down. I have read the documentation posted in previous reply, and still have questions.

Where in the docs will I learn how to:
- Map a channel to a chase, so the Bank up / down buttons select a chase
- Map the other buttons to, say, a Verse Scene, Chorus Scene, and a Bridge Scene in the selected chase

At least this is what I had in mind for the foot controller.

Thanks!

Assuming that your device is well installed and correctly mapped in the "IN OUT" section, do the following:

-create your chaser with "infinite" ON for the duration.
On the virtual console, create a solo frame.
Create a chaser widget linked with your chaser and go to the chaser properties.
Under "next step" tab, set a button of your device to act as a "next step" trigger (click "auto-detection", then your device button etc...).

-still in the virtual console and in your solo frame, create buttons for each scenes.
Assign them individually the same way to switches of your devices.

Tell me if you need more info.
