I'm using QLC+ on a electronic music project where some lights are
triggered by midi.

But there is a thing : i want to have some effects on the tempo, but the
time in QLC+ is in seconds
if the tempo if 120, that's ok, it is half a second. but in the other
case it is very long to compute the time to trigger events, when
creating a chaser at 139bpm for example.

Do you think it is possible to have or the actual time in seconds,
either the time represented in bpm ?

Hi, the BPM idea is good. I'm going to add an enhancement ticket on Github.

Meantime, as a workaround, if you use Shows, I suggest you to create a metronome track with Audacity, save it as a WAV file and open it in QLC+.
Enable the track preview and you should be able to align your light steps to the desired beat.
