I'm testing qlcplus 4.11 on Xubuntu 16.04. VCsliders in playback mode do not output dmx signal to dmx monitor or to dmx usb device. Same function attached to a button or played from cuelist works and I can see dmx output in dmx monitor and in DMX USB device. Sliders in level mode are not working too. Simple desk sliders works as expected.
I tested with qlcplus 4.10.5b deb and works ok with Xubuntu Qt5 default version. I'm not sure 100%, but before 4.11.0 version release compiling 4.11.0 from GIT, sliders was working correctly.

My setup:
Xubuntu 16.04
Qt 5.9
Enttec DMX USB Pro with dmx tester.

Just tested and seems to work OK, so probably more details are needed.
What type of function are you controlling with the slider ?
Can you please provide a simple workspace to reproduce the issue ?

I tested with many old projects with same result. I'm very confused with this behavior. I will test on other computer with Xubuntu 17.04 and inform later.

I just tested on Xubuntu 17.04 with qlcplus-qt5 4.11.0 package from qlcplus repos. Same result no dmx output playing function with slider, playing same function with a button works ok.
With qlcplus 4.11.0 GIT compiled just now, same results.
I'm very confused.

I have tested the workspace and I can't see any issue.
See screenshot.
I'm on KDE Neon (Ubuntu 16.04) 64bit.

I think the mistery is solved. Normally I operate sliders with the scroll wheel of mouse or touchpad. If I click and drag up or down slider works as expected, it don't work using scroll wheel, slider values changes but dmx values are not sended. In the simple desk or function manager, using scroll wheel to move up and down sliders works as expected and dmx values are sended to output. I think there's something different in sliders on simple desk or function manager and on virtual console.

This makes sense then !
I knew this report was missing something.
This is "thanks" to the latest changes to avoid a Windows freeze when controlling a slider with a MIDI controller with feedbacks on.

Now that the issue is clear, I will look into finding a solution also for mouse wheel and I guess keyboard too.

[EDIT] now fixed on GIT

Indeed, fixed in GIT version 4.11.1
I want to use this functionality in production environment but i do not want to use an unstable version (4.11.1) in production environment.
Is there a single file i can replace to fix this single isue?
Or do i need to install one of this automated builds for windows?
