@All ...
Was foolin around once again and found some bugs in the XY-pad widget.
To start with - if you enter maximum values it changes minimum values (I can live with that ... simply press shift+tab, reentering the value you like and fixed)
this is a new XY-widget and edit
now I'm entering minimum X-values
now tab & entering max values
Check what QLC does to the minimum ??

2/2 ran out of attachements
Maybe related to the fact that default behaviour is to set values in degrees (and calculated DMX values based on fixture definition????)
I don't know...
Solution: set default behaviour to DMX - in this mode it works well. But now - the real problem:
and play around with the XY-pad (mouse or joystick if you like) QLC is ONLY changing the 'fine'-channel values... <<< this is NOT expected

Hi, are you using the fixture bundled in QLC+ or a custom version ?
What you're experiencing is most likely an error in the fixture definition, where pan/tilt fine are set to "coarse", which is wrong.

Was custom and is now included in official.
Pan fine and Tilt fine are set to fine (LSB)
(check for yourself) thx for looking into this.

Fred

Alright, the fixture seems to be OK.
I tested an XY Pad on 2 Contest Mini Head and it's working fine.
Actually, your screenshot is OK too. See the monitor: QLC+ is changing both coarse and fine channels.
I don't understand where you see an issue.

I'd expect if you set DMX range 0-255 that the values in the monitor go from 0 (left upper position) to 255 (right down corner)
QLC does not do that !

Like this ?
In this thread, first you talk about fine values, then DMX range. None of them is a real issue until you explain exactly:
- what you do
- what you see
- what you expect
Is the issue the following ?
- add 2 contest mini head 10 channel mode
- create a VC XY Pad
- add the 2 fixtures
- limit to a degrees range (specify which)
- switch to DMX values (turn to 0-255: is this correct ?)
- XY Pad still works in degrees and ignore the DMX range
That is how I would expect an issue to be reported. Without 1000 screenshots,
You have a very weird way of reporting issues and I need to read them 4-5 times to try and understand what you're actually saying. In this thread, first you talk about fine values, then DMX range. None of them is a real issue until you explain exactly:
