Hi,
4.10.6 - GIT Qt4 version (qlcplus-qt4-git_4.10.6.20170310.2a70ac5-0_amd64.deb)
Linux Mint 17.3 Rosa with XFCE 4.12
Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS

Copying a Frame (either normal or solo) causes QLC to crash / close.

Create a Frame.
Goto Pages then Enable pages, Set No. of pages to 2. Select OK.
Back on main screen
Right click the frame, select Copy, click in main screen, right click, select Paste, QLC closes/crashes.

Doing the same but using Cut/ Paste works ok.
Also Copy/Paste works fine in 4.10.5a

Repeatable on my system with a new project and only the one frame

Hey,

good catch and thanks for the accurate report. I created a pull request to fix this issue. If you are able to build from sources you can give the "copy-crash" branch a try and report results (please also test for other possible drawbacks): https://github.com/siegmund42/qlcplus/tree/copy-crash

Thanks for speedy reply.

Sry, I'm not able to build on my current machine (not mine).
My laptop decided to fry it's graphics card.....

My only other option is an old pc still with 4.10.0..
do I need to uninstall old versions before doing builds?
or can I build to a different folder?

I would say this depends on machine and OS. But in general it is better to uninstall first.
