Hi folks. Please, before you roll your eyes and say 'oh god, not another thread about this', please hear me out. I have reached the point where I do not want to use a product for lighting control that does not include a 3D visualizer. But don't get me wrong, I don't care if it's built into the product or whether it's a separate product.

So ...........................

1. Is CAPTURE really a good enough product to warrant it's price?
2. Does CAPTURE work perfectly with QLC+? Is getting that connection between the products relatively straight forward without having to buy anything else?
3. I have read in the forum about a free product (can't remember the name right now) but there seems to be a lot of varying opinions in different threads as to 1) Is it any good, and 2) How do you get it working.

So if there's a free product to try, I would love to try it (with a little help on how it's set up). If that doesn't satisfy me then I would like confirmation that CAPTURE works perfectly with QLC+ since it is quite expensive and their site does not mention QLC+.

Thanks everyone ............. Rob

Hey,

since I have no experience with QLC+ and visualizers at all, I can't do more than pointing you to the existing threads

Hi,

I have played with using Blender ( free 3d modelling software ) to create a visualiser. Although I did get it working it was a pain to set up a simple view and if I wanted to get any more complicated it would have been very time consuming.

I have recently purchased Capture and it works like a dream with QLC+.
