Has there been any thought given to providing Blu-Ray video support?

I'm working on a project where the venue wants to play Blu-Ray videos, either straight from the Blu-Ray DVD, or ripping the Blu-Ray to a file.

Once the Blu-Ray is ripped, I suppose it can be converted to a supported format, but staying in Blu-Ray would be the preference.

Thanks,
Ken

I can't see any problems there... Blu Ray is 'only' Full HD (supports HD-resolutions 480i/720p and 1080i/p)
You will have to tweak some QLC-settings to have the video played on the external monitor in full screen AND Qt isn't able to detect format and codec on windows ... So give it a try before.
