Two USB DMX interfaces on MAC 10.11.6

I have two generic DMX USB interfaces connected on the MAC, but only one of them works.

Even if I dial USB 1 or USB 2 always the same is active ... the second is ignored ...

It detects both ... but only enables one of them regardless of which one I choose.

I already installed D2xxHelper_v2.0.0.pkg
I've already followed the steps in the tutorial that the QLC documentation itself puts for the Macs but still only one of the interfaces works.

Has anyone ever had similar problems?

From reading the code the interface is identified by its serial number.
So it seems that your problem is caused by the fact that QLC+ can't read serial number from the devices.

Unfortunately I can't tell you the cause/fix of the problem.

When I use Windows I do not have this problem.
I've used it several times ... now I'm migrating everything to MAC .... and I have no idea how to solve this ...

It looks like someone ran into a different issue with the same cause as yours a few years ago:

https://sourceforge.net/p/qlcplus/discu ... /b39ab2da/

The reason QLC+ does not work with your two interfaces is that they do not have serial numbers. Without serial numbers QLC+ cannot tell them apart. From what I read at that link, it sounds like you need to assign serial numbers to both interfaces to get them to work.

Look at the post by Janez Krizaj at 2014-06-28:
I finnaly solved my problem by using FT_PROG 2.8.2.0 - EEPROM Programming Utility which can be downloaded from http://www.ftdichip.com/Support/Utilities.htm (runs on Windows only)
Lack of SerialNumber in my Enttec open dmx usb clone prevented communication with QLC+ and following FT_PROG instructions it was easy to flash the chip with autogenerated serial number.
Now everythings works as expected and I am ready to do some lights ;-)
Thanks Massimo and all contributors for making fantastic software!
The software mentioned is here: http://www.ftdichip.com/Support/Utilities.htm#FT_PROG

It runs only on Windows so you will need a Windows computer (or possibly a VM with USB passthrough) to set the serial numbers.

NOTE / WARNING: This is only an attempt to help you by doing some Google searching. I have not done this myself and can't be 100% certain that this will solve your problem. I cannot guarantee that this will not destroy your DMX interfaces. Do this at your own risk to equipment, time, and effort.
