Hi is it possible to use two APC Mini midi controllers to control QLC. So all the buttons on both controllers work independently.
Thanks Jamie

Most probably yes. They will show as two MIDI ports. Assign each one to separate universe and everything else is as usual.
Do NOT use those two universes for anything else (like DMX output) unless you know what you are doing!

Example:
Universe 1: lights - output
Universe 2: apc #1 input + feedback
Universe 3: apc #2 input + feedback

So have you tried it?
I want to do the same thing because last time i was short on buttons.

I also had a problème with usb connection. once an hour QLC froze because of the usb driver in windows 10 i suspect.

anyone have the same problem?

Thanks

Same issue here. QLC suddenly freezes with the akai.
You have to disconnect, restart Qlc and reconnect. After this everything is normal.
Win10 problem I think.

Rudi

Donne some testing as described in this thread yesterday
viewtopic.php?p=46864#p46864

it seems to be caused by rapid slider movement on the APCmini

I have done some tests with two nanokontrol2 with QLC+ running in Xubuntu 16.04. I think this is a Windows 10 problem.
Can you share your workspace to do more tests on my system.

File attached

though i tested on 2 windows 7 systems (32 & 64 bit)
and the laptop i use on shows with windows 10 64bit
all systems show the same errors....

thanks, any help is deeply appreciated :)

note: one way to avoid the crash is to NOT send feedback to controler .

Thanks for the workaround but it's strange sending feedback to non-motorised faders...

i send feedback only to buttons, the APC mini can light the buttons in 3 colors + flashing ... makes it easy to see what is playing
there is only "input" in QLC's faders.... oups...i hope there is no hidden "feedback" sent in the software :) is there? that would be a bug

So have you succeed using two midi controller for one show?

I need it for a show in two weeks :)

also i will use a USB HUB with external power supply to see if it comes from an over consumption of power on USB. ( as 2 midi controller with feedback and lite buttons are consuming too much for a laptop I think).
